When something blocks play

Troubleshoot a machine session

Tell normal outdoor ball variation from a recoverable refill or connection issue, stop safely for a machine fault, and request your money back when the machine does not perform as expected.

Open your bookings

Before you start

  • Keep the booking reference, venue, machine ID, and observed error available.
  • Pause and switch off the machine first whenever continued operation may be unsafe.
  • Small landing differences can be normal outdoors; repeated large misses, unusual noise, or a machine error need a deliberate check.
  • Ask the venue manager for court-side equipment and handover help; contact PeachMe for booking, payment, or refund decisions.

Treat a single imperfect ball differently from a repeated feed problem. Make one safe adjustment or refill, then stop and escalate if the problem continues.

  1. 1

Read the booking and machine state

Open the booking detail and confirm the session is Active, then read the message or error code shown in Device. Keep the machine ID and booking reference ready before trying a recovery action.

  2. 2

    Allow for minor outdoor variation

One or two balls landing slightly away from the selected point is normal outdoors. Wind, temperature, court surface, ball wear or pressure, and a changing hopper level can all alter flight and bounce without indicating a fault.

  3. 3

    Make one small correction

Pause, check that the machine has not shifted and that the balls are dry and undamaged, then change only one setting such as target, height, or speed. Test three to five balls before adjusting again. Stop if the spread becomes large or unsafe.

  4. 4

    Refill for code 05

If the app shows Refill balls, No ball on turntable, or code 05, pause and wait for the feed to stop. Collect the balls, refill the hopper with dry and undamaged balls, and resume. The notice should clear when balls feed again; if it does not, switch off and ask the venue manager.

  5. 5

    Recover a lost connection once

Pause feed, stay beside the correct machine, check Bluetooth permission and machine power, then reconnect from Device. Never choose a nearby machine with a different ID. If it disconnects again, stop and report it.

  6. 6

Stop for codes 01 to 04

Codes 01 launch wheel jam, 02 turntable jam, 03 vertical motor jam, and 04 horizontal motor jam are blocking faults. Stop, switch off, and wait for all movement to end. Do not open covers or reach into the feed, launch, or motor path.

  7. 7

Report complex failures to the venue manager

Tell the venue manager immediately about a repeated error, jam, unusual noise, damage, wet or unstable machine, or continued poor feed. Share the code, time, machine ID, and one focused photo or video. Continue only after the manager confirms it is safe and the alert has cleared.

  8. 8

    Reclaim the machine-session fee

If the machine did not perform as expected and you could not use all or a meaningful part of the session, you can request reimbursement of the PeachMe machine-session fee. Have the venue manager document the problem, then contact PeachMe with the booking reference and evidence. A separately booked court fee is handled by the venue and is not refunded automatically.

You're done when

You either return to a safely controlled session after one small correction, refill, or reconnect, or the machine is stopped, the venue manager has the fault details, and your refund request has the evidence PeachMe needs.

If something doesn't match

  • A few balls drift slightly but the pattern stays usable: this is normal outdoors. Make one small adjustment and judge the next three to five balls, not a single bounce.
  • Code 05 stays visible after refilling: pause, switch off, and tell the venue manager. Do not reach into the hopper or turntable to force a ball through.
  • Code 01, 02, 03, or 04 appears: treat it as a blocking mechanical fault and give the stopped machine to the venue manager; do not attempt a repair yourself.
  • There is no code but feed is repeatedly erratic or far from the selected area: stop, document a short sample, and report the machine as not performing as expected.
  • Payment looks duplicated or unclear: stop retrying and contact PeachMe with the booking reference and payment time. Do not send full card details.
  • The session ended but payment or receipt is still processing: keep the recorded return and refresh later. Do not complete the session a second time.
  • You need to cancel: use Cancel booking before the session when available, then cancel the separate court directly with its venue or provider.
  • The machine failed and you lost meaningful playing time: report it before leaving, then ask PeachMe to reimburse the machine-session fee. Include the venue manager's record, booking reference, and evidence so the request can be reviewed.
